Shirley and I drive a Rover SD1, we both love these 3.5 litre V8 twin plenum Vitesses.  The car I have featured as an ex Royal Protection Squad car in July 2001 Practical Classics magazine.  Rene Winters from Holland has developed a very good web site dedicated to these motors (mine features on this too!), www.roversd1.nl, and so has my old mate Oscar Bakker (yup, another Dutchman!), www.roversd1.info.

There is also a UK based Rover SD1 club which has regular meetings (3 per year) as well as a good regional representation, www.roversd1club.net
