Here are the links for some good friends of ours from both sides of the pond who have helped HoneyJukes get this far as well as a few other links pointing to our hobbies:
Oliver and Hildegard Stamann. Oliver and Hildegard have a plethora of spares and knowledge available and are always there when needed. http://www.jukebox-world.de
Roy Dean, a wily Georgian who really has helped me and on many occasions given advice and assistance when we lived in Atlanta. Roy can get almost anything from his aladdins cave of spares! http://www.jukebox-junkyard.com
A UK jukebox owners forum - very friendly and with many gurus to boot! http://www.tomh.demon.co.uk/bjo/home.htm
Shirley and I drive a Rover SD1, we both love these 3.5 litre V8 twin plenum Vitesses. The car I have featured as an ex Royal Protection Squad car in July 2001 Practical Classics magazine. Rene Winters from Holland has developed a very good web site dedicated to these motors (mine features on this too!), www.roversd1.nl, and so has my old mate Oscar Bakker (yup, another Dutchman!), www.roversd1.info.
There is also a UK based Rover SD1 club which has regular meetings (3 per year) as well as a good regional representation, www.roversd1club.net
We also grow a lot of our own produce as make our own wine. Lots of advice can be found on the Grow Your Own forum, www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/grapevine
Do you need a wedding car hire service with a difference? Take a look at the service Sean is offering at www.stylecars.org.uk This site offers classic American 50's Cadillacs - really beautiful cars as wedding limousines.
We have been invited to attend a genuine 50's Rock 'n' Roll week end in Reading on the 24/25th May 2008. Details available on www.jivejivejive.co.uk. We will be bringing 3 jukes - the 2104 will be in the cafe and will be set to free play so you can enjoy your food to original 50's sounds - the way they were meant to be enjoyed - and the Seeburg V200 and Wurlitzer 2300S will be in the main market stand area. Hope to see you there!
